Virgin's Stone
St. Aegidi, Oberösterreich, Österreich
- Suitable for groups
More than 4000 years ago the first settlement was founded in this area.
Around 500 BC the Celtic tribes immigrated in our region and erected the famous "Jungfrauenstein" (virgin´s stone) as a sacrificial place, featuring 2 giant rocks - one on top of the other. By moving the legendary stone on top it easily swings up and down.
