The filling takes place via a small channel, which repeatedly causes flooding of the adjacent meadows and fields in heavy rainfall.

In addition to ecological enrichment, the biotope is therefore also intended to improve the homogenization of the inflowing surface waters and thus to reduce the extent and frequency of the floods that occur.

The design and planting will be done under expert guidance with site-specific materials and plants.

It should therefore develop a valuable flora and fauna, which should also be accessible and experienced for interested nature lovers.
