Fishers´ Fountain (Fischerbrunnen)

The fountain is named after a historical fact... ..... on the steps of this fountain in the the town centre , every Friday, fisherman offered living fish until the year 1939.



The octagonal basin made of white marble shows the year date (1675) of its construction at the base. The middle column, with the Bavarian and Austrian city arms carries the statue of the saviour with the world (as a small sphere), in northern direction in his hand.
