At the edge of the forest north of the Ledererwiese, village of Nußbaum, municipality of Bruck-Waasen. It is a stone pyramid crowned by a morning star. This morning star is formed from a stone sphere and iron spikes. There is an engraved inscription on the central stone: "21 May 1626 Es muaß seyn".
The memorial commemorates the encounter near Peuerbach on 21 May 1626. Near the village of Nußbaum, a small band of peasants drew the attention of Adam Count Herberstorff's approaching troops, so that the main force, which had been hiding behind a hill on the Ledererwiese, was able to fall into the troops' right flank and crush them.
