Immerse yourself in the history of pile-dwelling cultures, the Mondsee monastery and the Mondsee writing school and experience the sculptures of baroque sculptor Meinrad Guggenbichler
Among the highlights ranks a special exhibition on Meinrad Guggenbichler, a famous master in the art of Baroque sculpture. Exhibits on display in the ancient Monastery´s Library include photographs and documents.

From the highway exit Mondsee you drive to the roundabout - exit Mondsee North. Keep up the signs to "Parking Center." You can park your car here and walk through the courtyard to the church square. Left in the corner, next to the entrance to the basilica, you will see the entrance to the Austrian Lake Dwelling Museum and Mondsee.
