Riding club and therapeutic riding

In keeping with our slogan "Feel at home with our horses", riders from all areas of equestrianism come to our centre to enjoy time together with their horses in a family atmosphere. Since 1993, our facility has offered supervised stabling and, since 2004, educational riding care for children aged 3 and over. Sieglinde Inreiter has been in charge of the individual and caring care of the horses since 2003.

Stabling
The individual, competent and loving care of our 28 livery horses includes, among other things, the daily mucking out of the stalls and the feeding of organic hay and concentrated feed from Solan three times a day. It is also possible to feed the horse owner's own concentrated feed or supplementary feed.

Daily paddock access in good weather during the grazing season from approx. May to October and paved outdoor paddocks ensure that the horses can move freely.

For horses and riders who want to improve their skills, we offer the opportunity to take part in training sessions with state-certified riding instructors several times a week. It is also possible to bring your own trainer.

In addition to the services listed above, we also offer various additional services such as: administration of medication, farrier, vaccinations and worming treatment.

Educational riding
Sieglinde Inreiter has been offering pedagogical riding care on well-balanced and child-friendly ponies since 2004. She is professionally trained as a pedagogical riding counsellor.

Through pedagogical riding care in combination with vaulting (gymnastic exercises on the horse), children experience both physical and psychological support. However, our pedagogical riding care does not see itself as traditional riding lessons to learn how to handle a horse and the "basics" of riding. Rather, we aim to improve or solve physical or mental problems through exercises that are individually tailored to the child's weaknesses. The interaction with the horse enables the children to establish a mental balance and to develop openness and a sense of responsibility. Through gentle movements on horseback, muscles, ligaments and joints are strengthened and possible movement deficiencies can be compensated for or prevented, while the contact with horses, the close experience of nature and the opportunity to live out their own creativity helps children to become more self-confident.
