The unique aspect of the Spitaler Sportstadl is its focus on "problem feet." The Sportstadl is the only one in the area that produces custom ski boots in collaboration with the company Strolz in Langen am Arlberg. While it started in 1980 with a single pair of custom ski boots, it has since become a success story, with 250 pairs of custom ski boots made last winter. The Patzl family makes it possible to provide an optimal solution for every foot problem. For instance, a customer with a partially amputated forefoot was able to ski again comfortably and without pain thanks to the custom ski boot.
