Generel fishing route in the Große Mühl

General section Bohemian Forest: Schlägler Weir upstream to the bridge in the Bruckhäuseln.
Length: 2.6 km and width: 10 to 25 m
Easily fishable - mostly fishable on both sides!
2 trout may be taken per day (brown and rainbow trout). Fishing must be stopped after these 2 trout have been taken! Grayling are protected all year round. Casting with only one rod is permitted. Children up to the age of 12 can fish with a parent and their own rod! From 12 to 16 years, children pay half price for a day ticket.
No live bait (including worms and maggots) allowed! Casting is only permitted with one rod! Setting up and casting is generally prohibited!

Children up to the age of 12 can fish with a parent and their own rod! Day ticket for young people from 12 to 16 years of age € 16.50.
An annual fishing licence is also required. This is valid for one year throughout Upper Austria and can be applied for online . Otherwise you can purchase the guest licence at the Aigen-Schlägl tourist office for €20.
