Kurpark Bad Ischl

Park in the centre of Bad Ischl.

The park was redesigned as part of the 2015 State Garden Show. There are lovely shady spots under the old trees and a new playground has been created for children.
The monuments to Franz Lehár and Emmerich Kalman are reminders of the silver operetta era in the 20th century and the Lehár Festival still takes place every year in the Kongress & TheaterHaus in the Kurpark. In the summer months, the music pavilion serves as a venue for open-air concerts.
