Atelierhaus Salzamt
Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The Atelierhaus Salzamt is a cultural institution of the city of Linz centrally located on the Danube.
On the occasion of the Capital of Culture year 2009, the Salzamt was renovated by the City of Linz
and equipped with artists' studios. It is now a place for international artist exchange.
The studios are available as a base and workshop for the development of creative work. In the 170 square meter exhibition hall on the ground floor of the Salzamt, works created in Linz are presented in exhibitions.
Lectures, discussions, presentations and other events also take place here.
Several times a year, the studios are open as part of the Open Studio Day to give interested art lovers an insight into the everyday work of the artists. Studio visits by schools can also be booked as part of the art education program.
Only open during exhibitions.
