The Gleinkersee is a special insider tip among fishermen. Since 2017, the Gleinkersee has been dominated by fly fishing. Only two fishing licenses are sold per day (including rowing boat).

The Gleinkersee (approx. 15 hectares) is a wonderfully situated pre-alpine lake near Windischgarsten and houses capitale pikes, trout, reindeer, zander and carp. Fly fishing is available from 1 June to 31 December. possible. Fishing licenses are available at: www.bissanzeiger.net

For the recreational fisheries in Upper Austria a valid fishing license (photo-ID) is required. Official Fishing cards from other states or countries are recognized. Every angler must be in possession of Linzenzbuches, which is new for each calendar year. The license book is available at all license issuing offices at the price of € 15,00.
