Gustav-Mahler-Memorial
Bad Hall, Oberösterreich, Österreich

In the Spa Park in the Hillischerweg, where the old wooden Summer Theatre once stood.
In 1880, Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) spent the whole season as the spa concert and band master. His responsibilities included placing the music on the conductor’s stand, dusting the piano, and during the break pushing baby Mitzi Zwerenz (daughter of the theatre director) around the theatre in her pram. Tip: An exhibition about his life in Bad Hall can be found in the Forum Hall museum.
