Dear guests, As part of EU bathing water monitoring, severe water turbidity and a significant accumulation of driftwood have been detected at the Rindbach bathing site. For this reason, the Water Quality Monitoring Authority and the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) recommend refraining from bathing for the time being. For the safety of all bathers, appropriate signs will be posted. This measure will remain in place until the bathing area is free of driftwood again and the visibility depth (currently only 0.7 m) allows for safe bathing.

The "Freizeitzentrum Rindbach", a recreation and leisure center, is located about 1 km east oft the town centre directly at the Traunsee. It consists of a sunbathing area, sanitary facilities, children´s playground, surfing area, beach volleyball court and football field and sometimes as well as a boat rental. The use is free of charge, only a parking fee has to be paid.
