Canyoning, Kanu, Rafting - Sportschule Östl. Salzkammergut

The Alpine School of the Eastern Salzkammergut was founded in 1986 by Peter Cäsar.

In the early years, the focus was on climbing courses, basic and ice-climbing courses, and comprehensive avalanche and ski-touring training. Gradually, a team of young mountain guides took shape, and nothing stood in the way of our first mountain trips abroad. Demand from our guests took us to ever more remote areas, and suddenly we found ourselves at the end of the world (the South Pole)! Thanks to these many years of experience, we are now able to offer our customers a unique programme both at home and abroad.
We have been organising mountain and adventure trips worldwide since 1986, and our journeys have taken us to even the most remote corners of the world (e.g. Antarctica, Mongolia).
Our second main focus, however, is the extraordinary beauty of the Salzkammergut region, with its enchanting landscape of mountains, rivers and lakes, where unique combinations of activities are available within a very small area.
Our range of services extends from children’s climbing courses, school sports weeks and company outings to extreme mountaineering and trips that cannot be booked through any travel agency.
