Atelier Siebdruck

Experimental screen printing workshop - basic knowledge of screen printing technology is learned.
Screen printing, formerly also known as "serigraphy", is a printing process in which the printing ink is applied to the material to be printed with a wipe-like tool, the rubber squeegee, through a fine-meshed textile fabric, in our case probably textile or possibly. Paper, is pressed. In the course everyone can develop their own experimental way of working, in which smaller but also large-scale unique items are created. The main focus is on experimenting with the possibilities of screen printing technology. You can work with unexposed empty screens and stencils as well as with prepared exposed screens. You can also bring your own motifs by arrangement.
The workshop offers fun experimenting with surfaces, shapes and colors, in which an individual artistic expression can be found. I work in my studio in Pettenbach, O.Ö. Maximum number of participants 6 people. No prior knowledge is required! If you have any questions, you can reach me by phone at 0676-9402929. Please register by email.
