​The Name is from back then when the plot of land was owned by the Leitnerbräu. As the Picture Shows the Chapel was located on the way to Mondsee in the middle of a big Meadow.

​The Picture on the altar was drawn by the late Mrs Marschallinger. When the plot of land was sold, the Chapel belonged to the municipal Tiefgraben. It is looked after by Mrs Putz with help from council Workers.
