The Ebensee Chess Club is the oldest in Upper Austria. The members organize the annual Corpus Christi chess tournament, take part in the "Ebensee Holiday Pass" campaign and look after the outdoor chess facility in the town hall park.
There is also a chess match every Thursday evening at the Hotel Post, which interested guests can also attend.
