St.-Anna-Church
Kirchschlag bei Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich

Around 1230 a small chapel was built in Kirchschlag near Linz. Today's single-nave church was built in 1748 by master builder Johann Matthias Krinner in the baroque style. The Anna church on the Kirchschlager Ortsplatz became a place of pilgrimage early on. Completely devastated after the fire in 1692, the church was rebuilt several times over the centuries and furnished with beautiful, stylish statues of saints and pictures. Today, the church of St. Anna is a listed building.
