The Raab family offers a new way of imparting knowledge at their oil mill in Eferding. The trail leads into a nut and almond garden, past display boards, plant troughs with various oil plants and on to the oil presses. "The themed trail is packed with informative and quirky knowledge about plants and their oils," says Thomas Raab, head of the Raab oil mill. All the oil plants whose seeds are processed on the farm grow in the show garden. A special feature is the oil treasure book, where visitors can watch the owner of the oil mill press the oil. After a guided tour, the oils can be tasted. This themed trail appeals to all the senses. Information and fun take centre stage.
