Schillerpark (or Schillerplatz) is located in the city centre on Landstraße. In addition to green spaces and meeting zones, the park also has a fountain and monuments.
One of the oldest inner-city parks in Linz, Schillerpark was created in 1824 and features a fountain designed by Hans Muhr in the centre of the square. The Schiller monument was erected in 1959 to mark the 200th anniversary of Friedrich Schiller's birth.
