Lebensquell Bad Zell has a whole-body cryotherapy chamber with a two-chamber system. After clarifying your health requirements with the spa doctor, you spend 30 seconds in a pre-chamber at -60° C before spending 2 1/2 minutes at -110° C in the main chamber. An audiovisual monitoring system ensures the necessary safety. There is room for 2-3 people in the cold chamber at the same time.
The cold therapy works due to the strong thermal stimulus and relieves pain, inhibits inflammatory processes and the immune system can be positively influenced by the cold. Painful joints become more mobile again, the muscles close to the joints can therefore be better activated and the progression of degenerative processes can be slowed down.
The whole-body cold chamber is particularly helpful for complaints of the musculoskeletal system, rheumatism and gout, as well as psoriasis, neurodermatitis and asthma.
