Aronia-Mühlviertel

We are the Mayrhofer family who are always open to new things. That's why we decided to plant chokeberries together in 2016. Living with and from nature and personal contact with our customers is particularly important to us.

We are a seven-person family business at the Weidnergut, which is located in the lower Mühlviertel between Ried in der Riedmark and Mauthausen an der Donau. Our farm has been run as a full-time business for more than 10 generations. Current farm manager: Berta Mayrhofer trained as a qualified health and nursing professional. Current farm owner: Mayrhofer Christian trained as a skilled agricultural and forestry worker and qualified health and nursing professional. In 2016, in addition to pumpkins, walnuts, kiwis and more, our range for our consumers was expanded to include 40,000 aronia plants.
