Bruckner Stairway - Old Cathedral

Since 2011, the Old Cathedral in Linz has one more attraction in addition to the historic Bruckner organ - the "Bruckner Staircase". This can only be visited with a guide.

This refers to the staircase leading to the organ, which Bruckner walked up and down several times a day during his tenure as cathedral and city parish organist. The Bruckner Staircase is a small museum or memorial in which Bruckner's Linz years are presented and illustrated in a small and refined way.

Opening hours

The tour of the Brucknerstiege is only possible in guided groups.
