Naturschauspiel

With NATURSCHAUSPIEL, the Department of Nature Conservation of the Province of Upper Austria offers opportunities for experiences in nature that also impart knowledge about the value and protection of nature.

In co-operation with Upper Austria Tourism and OÖ. Landeskultur-GmbH, combined packages of nature experience, recreation and leisure experience are being developed, which also contribute to value creation in tourism and the leisure industry. The focus in the coming years will be on the variety of tailor-made educational offers, the expansion of cooperation with regional partner organisations and increasing awareness of NATURSCHAUSPIEL as an umbrella brand for nature education in Upper Austria. By resolution of the Upper Austrian Provincial Parliament on 12.10.2020, the NATURSCHAUSPIEL offer will be continued until 2026; the Institute for Applied Environmental Education Steyr was again commissioned to implement the project.
