Treat yourself to a "real" piece of ostrich from the Mühlviertel

We Petra and Günter have decided to start keeping ostriches on
our farm in 2017, in addition to fattening cattle.
In species-appropriate husbandry and on large pastures, there are currently around 30 animals living with us. These are also available for viewing.

Our idea was to be able to offer something UNIQUE from the region!
That's why the following products are available from the farm:
- Eggs (empty & full)
- Egg liqueur
- Pasta (spelt and wheat) 
- Meat (pre-order)

• Its sense of sight is impressive, it can see up to 3.5 km away.
• It can grow up to 3 metres tall and weigh 160 kg.
• Ostrich eggs have a diameter of approx. 15 cm, the content corresponds to approx. 25 chicken eggs.
• The incubation period is approx. 40 to 42 days.
• Ostriches peck at everything in their path, but are herbivores.
