I have been involved with horses for as long as I can remember. The farm of my husband and his brothers is called "Hennerbichler Ranch" and we currently have 15 western ridden horses on the farm.

Why horses?

• Playing is the highest form of learning - children learn everything about horses through play
• Horses help to reduce fears or prevent them from arising in the first place
• Promotes social learning and teamwork
• Trains basic motor skills such as speed, jumping ability, endurance, coordination and balance
• Children acquire knowledge through riding and movement - they learn through movement. This knowledge forms the basis for reading, writing, etc.
• Riding pedagogy offers a balance to the pressure of time and performance.
