Angelika's Reitpädagogik & Reittherapie

I must have always been a horse girl, because very soon, at the age of 6, I had the opportunity to get in touch with horses and ponies at various farms in my neighbourhood. I was fascinated by everything about them and riding them was my greatest desire.

I was born in 1973 and am the proud mum of two beautiful sons (2003 and 2004). My partner and best friend of many years is a born farmer and manager of our farm in the truest sense of the word.

It has long been my wish to combine my profession as a teacher with my horses. These wonderful and sensitive creatures, who live completely in the moment, have enriched my life for so long! They teach us to take responsibility, to be reliable and fair in order to gain their trust. But also consistency and empathy, patience and concentration. These are all wonderful qualities that we also want our children to have!

I would describe my training as a qualified disability pedagogue and qualified social pedagogue with various additional qualifications and my many years of work and experience with people in special life situations, in various social areas and management functions, my empathy, my sensitivity and my commitment as my personal strengths.

As a riding pedagogue according to the methods of Sabine Dell'mour, I completed my training as an Academic Riding Therapist/Hippotherapy HIPS at the University of Agricultural and Environmental Pedagogy in Vienna in 2021.

Our farm is not only a paradise for big and small horses, dogs, cats, pigs, chickens and cows, but also a place where children can simply be children - and learn something at the same time!

The "Zwieauer" is a working farm in the beautiful Mühlviertel with fields, forests and meadows. We practise dairy farming and cattle fattening. The farm borders on the Sterngartl network of bridleways, which offers wonderful tours through the countryside and connects to the Mühlviertel network of hiking trails. My long-time partner and best friend manages the farm full-time and with great love for all the animals that live on the farm.
