VINE VARIETIES

The range of vines planted grows every year. When the decision was made to cultivate wine, a colourful variety garden very close to the house formed the beginning - the "mixed set". Here you can find Gelber Muskateller, Weißburgunder, Müller-Thurgau and the Sieger-Rebe in one vineyard. The "Gemischter Satz", i.e. the joint harvesting of this variety of grapes, is a speciality of Lukas.

Apart from the Sieger-Rebe, all varieties are also found in their own vineyards and each has its own special flavour. In the meantime, a Grüner Veltliner has also joined the white segment.

After the success of the "whites", the "reds" are not long in coming. Vines of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränker and Blauer Wildbacher varieties have already been planted and promise a good harvest.

MUST, JUICES, VINEGAR

With a great deal of knowledge and a love of experimentation, Lukas uses the numerous fruits from our farm to create unique specialities. There is the absolutely dry strawberry sparkling wine, the pear cider - made into a sweet delicacy using the ice wine method, and the many fruit juices and vinegar specialities. Award-winning musts and ciders round off the range.

Our orchards are home to different and sometimes rare varieties of fruit, which form the basis for our creations.
