The Schärdinger brand can now look back on over 100 years of tradition. Where did it all begin? In 1900 in Upper Austria: Committed farmers in Schärding founded the "First Austrian Central Tea Butter Sales Co-operative" to collect and jointly market the butter they produced themselves. This lays the foundation for the legendary Schärding quality.

Today, the Schärdinger brand under the Berglandmilch umbrella brand is one of the strongest dairies in Central Europe and one of the largest and most innovative food-producing companies in Austria - a fact of which we are proud. Just as we are proud of our favourite employees, our cows.
