ENJOY A RIDE THROUGH THE BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE OF THE PREALPSAREA!

The Traunseetram connects the district capital Gmunden with the municipalities of Gschwandt, Kirchham and Vorchdorf. The merger of the former Traunseebahn and the Gmundner tram to today's Traunseetram can be reached from Vorchdorf to Gmundner Central Station and from there to the rest of the world. But for now, just get in, try it out and explore the region with the Traunseetram!

The Gmundner city center, bathing facility, steamer dock, cable car Grünbergseilbahn, the gastronomy as well as the Salzkammergut shopping park and the station Gmunden (ÖBB) are easily and quickly accessible from the surrounding communities. 

At Engelhof station you can easily change from the Traunseetram to the OÖVV line 533 bus from Gmunden to Grünau im Almtal/Almsee or use the Park & Ride facility to change from your bike or car.

You can also change to the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 10 to get to a mountain tour from the eastern shore of Lake Traunsee or a hike up the Grünberg.
