Hello, my name is Petra Pichler and I run my dog salon Cool Dog in Windischgarsten. If your dog has been allowed to be a real "dog" on your excursions and hikes, or just for fun, it's great for the dog but often a challenge for us owners. If you need a wellness treatment so that you can once again be socially acceptable when travelling with your dog, then you've come to the right place.

The dog has been a faithful companion to humans for thousands of years.No matter what part they play for their owners, there is one thing that all dog owners can agree on:

The most important thing is that the family member on four paws is lively and healthy. On the odd walk it can happen that the dog is happy but the coat is dirty. There are a number of things to consider when caring for a dog's coat, depending on the breed and many other factors. Some dog owners may be at a loss, but fortunately we groomers are here to help.
My name is Petra Pichler, and I have been running my Cool Dog dog salon in Schwanenstadt for more than 10 years now. My motto over the years has been:

The dog needs his dog's life. He doesn't want fleas, but he wants the opportunity to get them.
As a dog groomer, it is my passion to give all dog breeds, whether small or large, the care they need to feel comfortable and to make grooming at home easier for the dog owner.This includes not only an extensive bath, but also claw and paw care, brushing out the coat, de-matting, clipping, trimming and, of course, species-appropriate nutrition and care advice for all coats. 

Four years ago I moved to the beautiful Windischgarsten valley. My love of nature and the mountains amazes me every day. For this reason, I would now also like to practise my profession here. From July, I will be opening a second salon in Windischgarsten.

I am looking forward to welcoming many new pets and their masters to my new salon.
