We invite you to climb at our bouldering and climbing center!

Pre-registration is required for this service, as participation cannot occur once the maximum number of participants is reached.

The booking can be found in the experience webshop

Whether you want to leave the ground for the first time or already have climbing experience, you are welcome to test your limits on the largest bouldering block in Upper Austria or in the rope climbing centre.

Equipment: Rental equipment such as climbing shoes, harness, carabiner and rope is included.

Suitable for: Children, young people and adults interested in climbing.

Requirements: General physical health required.

Meeting Point: At the lower entrance of the Alpenvereinshaus Windischgarsten at the stream and boulder block!

Opening hours

This offer is only available to holders of a Pyhrn-Priel Card. Every Monday from 5 - 6 p.m. between May 1 and November 1, 2026.

The climbing center is also open daily with access chips, which can be borrowed at the tourism office during opening hours.

Arrival

Accessibility / arrival

Take the Rossleithen/Windischgarsten exit in the direction of Windischarsten. After driving through the village, turn left after about 100 metres over the railway tracks and follow the road until you see the striking Etech company building on the left. Turn left there and follow the road through the settlement until you come to a T-junction. Turn left onto Salzastrasse and follow it for about 300 metres. The climbing centre is then visible on the right-hand side. Car park at the top of the road.
