THE SEARCH FOR THE SILENT NIGHT" in Hochburg-Ach: decorative lighting illuminates a snowy winter scene. In the centre is a large, illuminated fire basket. A banner with winter decorations and lettering stretches out above it. Visitors gather around the fire basket to enjoy the festive atmosphere.

The historical play takes visitors back to the time when the world-famous song "Silent Night" was composed. Among other things, it also tells of the composer's childhood and the difficult time when he was secretly given organ lessons. In Oberndorf, he met Josef Mohr, who had written the lyrics to "Silent Night". On Christmas Eve 1818, the song was sung for the first time in the church in Oberndorf.
