This moderately difficult mountain tour in the Höllengebirge leads from the village of Kaisigen via path no. 822 via Auboden and the steep path to the uncultivated Gaisalm. Surefootedness is required, steep sections secured with ropes, a ladder and iron steps must be climbed. At the top of the Alm you will be rewarded with a wonderful view.

From the parking lot in Kaisigen, this route first leads through a forest area. Passing the Aubodenhütte, it now goes up in ascending hairpin bends and through densely overgrown pine forests. Shortly before the alpine huts of the non-managed Gaisalm, the climb joins the hiking trail no. 820. Here you can continue towards Hochleckenhaus - you can get there in about 20 minutes. The way back is on the same route.
