Between the Mondsee and the Wolfgangsee lake you can find another small mystical lake - the Krottensee lake. He is starting point of this tour.

Start at the Krottensee and follow the way #15 leading to Zeppezau. Keep right to the Obenauer and Mühlauer alp. Follow the hiking way back to the Scharfling pass and follow the main street back to the Krottensee lake.
