A climb to the summit of the Sparber Mountain, incorporating a steep path and partially secured climb.  Sure footedness and a head for heights are essential.

This route starts at Gasthof Kleefeld, on path no. 2, between the game enclosures and leads in the direction of the Sparber Mountain.  The climb rises steeply upwards to the Dürntalalm pastures, then leads through the forest to the Scharte Mountain between the two Sparber Mountain peaks.  From here, the route leads briefly downwards in a westerly direction, then very steeply upwards on an exposed section then continues via two ladders and rocky ridges to the narrow summit.  The descent follows the same path back to Gasthof Kleefeld.
