Description:
Leinenweberweg Trail starts in Johanniterstraße road (at the car park next to the children’s playground) and leads past Marktplatz square, the old people’s home to the adventure playground. This is the starting place of a beautiful hike along Lembach Brook down through the forest (Seufzerallee) and to Gasthof Bruckwirt that invites to a break stop. From there the trail continues through the forest until it leads to the former paper factory at the road. Now the trail follows Donaublickweg Trail to Obermühl. The trail leads steeply uphill and along Kirchschlägersteig Trail to Haar and past Edt to Lampersdorf. Then it continues across Mühlholzberg hill (nice view) to the Bohemian Forest and back to Lembach.

 



Directions:
Der „Leinenweberweg“ führt über den Marktplatz, vorbei beim Altenheim zum Abenteuerspielplatz. Dort beginnt eine wunderschöne Wanderung bergab durch den Wald (Seufzerallee) entlang des Lembachls zum Gasthof Bruckwirt, der zur Einkehr einlädt. Beim gegenüberliegenden Parkplatz gehen Sie durch den Wald weiter, bis der Weg bei der ehemaligen Papierfabrik an der Straße mündet. Der Weg folgt dem Donaublickweg nach Obermühl. Von dort führt der Weg steil bergauf entlang dem Kirchschlägersteig nach Haar und über Edt nach Lampersdorf (Rastplatz mit Blick zur Donau). Weiter geht´s über einen Wiesenweg nach Grain, wo Sie den wunderschönen Weitblick genießen können. Über den Mühlholzweg mit einer schönen Aussicht bis zum  Böhmerwald kommen Sie zurück nach Lembach.

Accessibility / arrival

Getting there
By car: coming from Linz: on the B127 towards Rohrbach to the Altenfelden roundabout (approx. 31km), take the third exit and follow the course of the road to Lembach (approx. 6km). Take the first access road and take a right turn after some 490m. Take a left turn at Marktplatz square and continue straight towards the municipal office and the school. After the municipal office is the car park and the starting signpost for Leinenweberweg Trail.
