Rinnkogel Mountain

Demanding mountain tour with lovely views from the mighty Rinnkogel Mountain in the Osterhorn mountain range.

Climb no. 889 to the Rinnkogel forks off path no. 890 at the Kammersbach stream.  Pass the Sulzaustube, crossing a forest track, continue upwards crossing a riverbed and then go sharply upwards to the Rinnstübl.  Follow the path above this to the flatter Sonntagstrieb and continue on to the western shoulder.  This is reached after a steep rocky passage which is secured with ropes.  Continue on the ridge along the western shoulder with more secured rope sections and onto the summit.
