Qualified hiking trail

The circular route, which starts at the new village square, is available in two different lengths. The shorter version can be completed in approx. 1.5 to 2 hours. Various adventure stations are set up along the hiking trail to allow nature lovers to experience the senses.

Shortly after the start, a beautiful biotope called the Maier pond can be visited on the Taferlweg. The trail then leads up to the settlement road "Am Graben" to the warehouse. From there, continue along the road towards Klam. After 300 metres, turn right into the forest and from there it climbs gently up to the landmark of Münzbach, the protected "Koppler Föhre" pine tree. From there, hikers have a far-reaching view over Münzbach from the Ötscher to the Traunstein and into the Mühlviertel. After 500 metres on the "Obernstraß" panoramic road, the trail finally leads southwards across meadows and fields to the next rest and rest stop with a special view of the Alpine foothills.

The Sinnweg trail continues westwards, past shrines and numerous square farmhouses typical of the region. The "Felsenruhe", a special place of power not far from the centre of the village, proves to be a particularly attractive resting place. The weathering of the Wollsack can be experienced at first hand here.

The 1.5 km longer version of the Sinneweg trail leaves the first trail at the Maier pond and leads along the Taferlweg trail to the Taferlkapelle chapel, past the Greisinger company and into the parish forest, where hikers pass the parish fountains on pleasant forest paths and learn a lot about the topic of "water". Before the ascent to the "Koppler Föhre" pine tree, the trail rejoins the shorter Sinneweg trail
