Historical hiking trail "Count Enzo"
The trail lures hikers onto past paths in the footsteps of "Count Enzo", the legendary founder of Enzenkirchen. The Celtic mule track leads through the "Denggenhengst", where Roman legionaries patrolled between Wels and Passau, where, according to legend, the medieval cavalry of Emperor "Barbarossa" rode into the crusade and where the Habsburgs saved themselves from the Turkish siege of Vienna.

Enzenkirchen - Goldberg - Kenading - Goldberg - Putzing - Ruprechtsberg - Hintersberg - Enzenkirchen
Description:
The "Count Enzo" historical hiking trail is 7.9 kilometres long. The hike starts in Enzenkirchen and leads via Goldberg to Kenading. If you feel like it, you can stop off at the Radpolt inn. Then it's back to Goldberg, on to Putzing and Ruprechtsberg and via Hintersberg back to Enzenkirchen.
