Starting point and destination: Peuerbach Castle. According to legend, the Romans were already walking along these paths - Peuerbach is one of the oldest settlements in Upper Austria. Turn right at the main road and follow the path round the left-hand bend to Stefan-Fadinger-Straße. Here you turn right again into Ledererweg, which leads to Ledererwiese with the Peasants' War monuments. At the end of the Ledererwiese, turn left and follow the markings to the left: the path to the Feichtberg (504m). The path leads through the forest; from here you have two options to continue the trail. Either turn right at the end of the forest towards Niederensfelden and walk via Sölden, Unterheuberg and Ledererwiese back to the centre. Before reaching Niedersfelden, you can take a detour to Niederspachung railway station (connection to the Linzer Lokalbahn) and the nearby inn. Or you can go straight on from the Feichtberg through the forest to the B 129, cross it and turn left towards Hötzmannsberg and follow the path to the "Lindner Kapelle" chapel. Here you can again choose between two paths. Either follow path no. 2 via Laab into the Leithental valley or walk through the forest behind the Lindner chapel, then turn left and follow the path back to the centre via the Turner monument. There is also the option of following the Urtl trail no. 3 to Kastlingeredt from the edge of the forest.
