The approximately 8 km long "Eggelsberger Gletscherrandweg" leads visitors through a landscape created by the ice-age Salzach glacier. The "footprint" of the glacier is omnipresent. This is evidenced by terminal moraines that trace the former edge of the glacier, as well as ice edge terraces from the time of melting
Start: Eggelsberg car park new middle school/near the church - via Renzlbergstraße uphill to Pippmannsberg - through 2 wooded areas back to Eggelsberg - past the RAIBA - - cross the B156 - continue along the vineyard hill - Trametshausen - Bergstetten - Autmannsdorf - and back to Eggelsberg to the starting point.
