Panorama loop - movement arena
Just like the Hargassner loop, the Panorama loop also starts at the town office in Altheim and leads past the parish church of St. Laurentius to Diepolding. There you turn left in the direction of Stern. Via the Kirchensteig you come to Gaugsham. A somewhat steeper ascent through a forest follows, which is rewarded with a magnificent view in Lüfteneck. Via Stern and Lehen you return to Altheim, where you pass the Römer Erlebnismuseum.
How demanding is the trail?
Not very demanding, suitable for everyone, possibly too long for some due to the length of 9.6 km, there are hardly any ascents, yet beautiful views, you walk about 2 hours if you are on the move quickly.
Sights and beautiful viewpoints along the way
Nice resting places at benches along the way. You cross a small forest with a lot of blueberry bushes ;-) At the end of the route you pass the Roman Museum Altheim. Here the Römerradweg rest area invites you to linger. A visit to the museum is recommended.
Refreshment stop: gastronomy in Altheim
