This 12.5 km circular hiking trail shows the use of "Mühlviertler granite stones".
A hiking trail dedicated to the diversity of stones in general - from beautiful Mühlviertler stone castle houses to various stone walls and natural stone walls.
Directions:
In the direction of the museum, take the road along the Kleine Gusental in Unterhirschgraben.
After approx. 800 metres, turn left along the "Alter Schmied Weg" to Auerbach, then right to the Reitersederhof farm in Berg. Turn left towards "Seidl-Hof", then right along the Tröbingerbach to the Raidlhaus.
Possibility to walk up the Zeißberg (802m) on the forest path. (Not marked!)
A short section here takes you across Neumarkt municipal territory. Continue left again along the Tröbingerbach to the "Lieb-Hof", here left over the Liebenberg to Auerbach and after the Grünbrunn Chapel left over the settlement back to Hirschbach-Ort.
Arrival by car:
From Linz via the A7 (Mühlkreis motorway) towards Prague/Freistadt as far as Unterweitersdorf, then turn left after the end of the motorway (towards Prague/Freistadt) and continue on the B125 to Freistadt. In Freistadt turn left towards Bad Leonfelden (B38). After approx. 1 km, turn left again towards Hirschbach.
Travelling by train:
Take the train from Linz main station, change there to the Linz-Summerau line, get off in Trölsberg (train station near Freistadt).
