The shorter of the two mountain bike routes on the Mondseeberg impresses with mystical forests, the romantic high alpine pasture and beautiful forest roads.

From the center of Mondsee, the route leads relatively steeply uphill towards Mondseeberg on the Mondseebergstraße. We pass under the motorway and follow the road at Kufberg in a hairpin bend. Through the settlements of Lederberg and Hauberg, you will reach the vantage point II car park (on the left-hand side of the road). After vantage point II, we turn right at the first junction. Now we follow the forest road uphill, always following the signs "Mountainbike Mondseeberg I". After the Hochalm and a fast downhill through the forest towards Oberwang you will find the Mondseeberg II route. From here, the tour leads easily through forests back to the starting point, which makes the tour a cool bathing lake alternative even on hot summer days.

From Germany: Coming from Munich on the A8 in the direction of Salzburg, then on the A1 in the direction of Linz/Vienna. After 30 kilometers, take the Mondsee exit.

from Vienna: drive on the A1 in the direction of Salzburg to the Mondsee exit.

from Italy: take the A10 to Salzburg, there you turn onto the A1 in the direction of Linz/Vienna, after 30 kilometers you take the Mondsee exit.
