Take a journey through time through the last two million years of the earth's history - in only two hours walking time on an easy, mostly flat circular trail on the Wurzeralm. In the process, you will circle the largest low and high moor in the Northern Limestone Alps, the so-called "Teichlboden".

This hike lets you experience the impressive mountain panorama of the Wurzeralm from all sides. You will hike through a magnificent alpine landscape and a colorful sea of flowers will line the path until summer. Eight experience stations bring you closer to the special features of the Wurzeralm in the areas of geology, alpine farming, moor and karst.
