Hiking paradise Grünberg near Gmunden - Almweg

Already at the uphill ride with the "grünberg" cable car, you can enjoy a magnificent view over Gmunden, the lake Traunsee and the impressive mountain scenery.

Starting point Seegasthof Hoisn - Kaltenbachwildnis up to the first branch - turn left - along the rivulet - up to the fork Ramsau/Hoisn - Dürrenberg - along the forest road up to a timber store - turn left to a fine route - into the forest - cross the road - up to the "Seeleitenstraße" - Radmoos

Now you can take different routes for continuing hiking. The route "Waldlehrpfad", which takes 30 minutes to the Grünberg or the beautiful Laudachsee. From the street Radmoos across "Franzl im Holz" or across the "Mitterweg" and the "Ortnersteig" back to the valley stration of the cable car and to Gmunden.
