The family-friendly trail is about 4 km long. This takes you to experience six stations. Information and active experience of being fire and movement in a fun way and have fun in the uniquely beautiful nature in Sandl!
Experience 1: WaterTarget injection system with active participation
Experience 2: ropes and hoses
Try node itself and assign couplings properly, a wobbly bridge waiting to be tested!
Origin of Maltsch
Experience 3: Alarm
Away from the noise and not disruptive to the forest animals alarm signals are learned. A balance beam will be tried. Shortly thereafter, a sign informs about the Maltsch that springs here!
Experience 4: orientation in the field
Compass and other guidance in Karrussell, a few steps from the observatory inform boards about our planet and the universe (target or starting point of the planet trail).
Adventure 5: Duties of the fire
Actively participate in a fire drill! On the little here waiting for a fire truck from local wood to playful to know the fire department.
Adventure 6: Respiratory protection and forest fire
Experience what it feels like in a fire with breathing and disorientation and information about the origin and the dangers of forest fires.

Who has time to hike up to the mountain cattle, there is an imposing peak cross!

The fire department adventure trail is open all year round!
However, the experiences (play equipment) cannot be used from November to April due to the weather.
Accessibility / arrival
Coming from Linz via the A7 and S10 - exit Grünbach/Sandl - then continue on the B38 towards Sandl. Possibility to park in the town center!
