Breathe in the fresh forest air and feel how the gentle hills and enchanted paths around Thalham transport you to an oasis of peace and nature. Every step on this circular trail brings little discoveries - from idyllic chapels to babbling brooks.

The starting point for this circular hike is the parking lot at the dog training area in Thalham, where you can enjoy the hike in the midst of nature and pass the Ahberg Chapel.

Turn left in the direction of Thalham along the asphalt road. At the intersection with the main road, keep to the right and after about 500 m, turn right again in the direction of the Ahberg chapel. Finally, take the forest path that leads steeply uphill to the Ahberg Chapel.

After a short rest and a visit to the Ahberg chapel, take the narrow path to the right, which leads along the so-called Kirchenweg in the forest to the Haberl farm in Pabing. Here you turn right and at the crossing to the main road you turn right again in the direction of Mitterleiten.
Continue on the road until you reach Mitterleiten, where you have to turn right after the fire station. After a small refreshment at Gasthof Simandl, the trail now descends mainly on a forest road into the Klauswald forest. You cross the Klausbach bridge and now hike right along the Klausbach through the forest back to the starting point.
