This easy, 6,3 km long cross country ski trail is perfect for a wonderful day.

Trail on the sunny side of the Goiserertal

After 3 km by car from St. Agatha, you will reach the parking lot at the “Flohwiese” car park approx. 300 m after the entrance to the Halleralm.

In summer this is also the starting point of the Tolerance trail- an interesting themed path about evangelical history.

The slightly hilly cross-country ski run, which is suitable for skating and diagonal running, leads you through the wintry moor landscape of the "Flea Meadow".

Experience an unmistakable winter panorama of our Holiday Region Dachstein Salzkammergut.

A special highlight is the "Beriga Golden Gate Bridge"

With this 35 meter long and 6 meter wide suspension bridge, you cross the so-called Schwarzenbachlochzwang with your cross-country skis. After a slight ascent through the forest you will reach the connection to the Kriemoosrunde.

Starting point: car park Flohwiesen In the village of St. Agatha after the petrol station turn towards Halleralm. Follow the road - do not turn right to the Halleralm, continue straight until the car park Flohwiesen.

The beginning of the cross country trail is the so called „Flohwiese“ car park, which is situated approx. 300m after the turning for Gasthaus Halleralm.

In winter months winter tires are a basic requirement, on snowy roads snow chains are advisable.

in Bad Ischl drive onto the “Salzkammergut Straße” B145 in direction to Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt - St. Agatha - after petrol station - turn left
from Linz:
A1 motorway exit Regau on “Salzkammergut Straße” B145 in direction to Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt - St. Agatha - after petrol station - turn left
from Graz:
A9 motorway exit Liezen on B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to St. Agatha near Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt - before petrol station - turn right.

by bus:
from Bad Ischl: bus in direction to “Gosausee” (Lake Gosau”), stop "St. Agatha/Bad Goisern"

by train:
from Vienna/Linz/Salzburg to Attnang-Puchheim, change train to Stainach-Irdning
from Klagenfurt/Graz to Stainach-Irdning, change train to Attnang-Puchheim
